Default Which bearing is right ?

hi , The spindle studs broke, Two of them so i have to press the bearing out in order to get myself new one in. Now my question is that many people have told me that i would have to buy new bearing .Are the integra's 90-93 and crx si the same ?

90-93 Integra part #: 44300-SF1-008
CRX part #: 44300-SB2-961 (one of four)

Tried to x-ref them and they don't seem to be the same part.

Not exactly sure, but if they're from a CRX they might say SH2 or SH3 on them somewhere. I can't remember if anything is stamped on them.

I assume you are talking about the wheel studs. I had problems with some crappy lug nuts that kept freezing on my studs in the past. Instead of taking the whole spindal off you can grind a little of one side of the head of the stud you can fit a new one in there. You shouldn't have much of a problem taking the old ones out as they are shorter now and should be able to radius out of there....if you do cut them closer to the hub and they should come out with a hammer. To get the new ones in get yourself a spacer or a bunch of washers and to pull the stud into the hub.

This will save you the trouble of pulling everything off and pressing every thing in and out.

How do you not know where your knuckle is from? In case you have a valid explanation for not knowing which one you have, just look at the size of your brakes (usually a dead giveaway). ~10.3" Integra, smaller = CRX.

I've always had a little trouble when my car was over 70 to 80 mph... after showing the whle assemble out of the car to a mechanic he grabber the hub showed me the little play on it. he told me it wasnt normal that it shoudlnt have any play whatsoever... so i guess the bearings are bad anyways.. I thought about cutting it closer to the hub to get them out but i'm having a hard time imagining geting the new ones in. A sketch would really be nice .

Thanks for he input anyway

Cut the black part off. You might need to angle back towards the head of the stud just a little. I wouldn't bother with this process if your going to do the bearing anyways.

If you do the bering make sure to press the hub out of the bering and remove the snap ring out of the spindal to press the bearing out. Use lube to press everything back together. It is common for the outside part of the bering to get stuck on the hub. Use a cut off wheel to cut this off it doesn't matter much if you nick up the hub a LITTLE as that part doesn't move.

No the Si's are 9.5", the EX Sedans got 10.3s though. Now you have to determine if you have EX knuckles or DA knuckles, because they don't use the same bearing.
