abs light on 95 ex
Hi I have my abs light on, in my 95 honda accord ex.
I tried researching, couldn't find anything, how do I diagnose it,
is it like the check engine light.

does it come on right away after starting your car, and makes a noise before coming on? if so your abs system could be losing pressure/leaking. you can try refilling the abs reservoir wit brake fluid if its low. that might make the abs light go away maybe temporarily.
if not i've been told its expensive to replace so ppl. say to goto a junkyard to buy the system from another 5th gen and replace it. but i guess theres no way of knowing whether its broken too.
either way i think the abs modulator or whutever system going to crap is a common prob.

I tried topping it off, I think Ive got it over the max lever.
And it makes some funny noise for a few minutes, and then
the abs light comes on.

This is a common problem with 94-97 accords.. the modulator assembly is unable to pressurize the accumulator and it trips a code.. You could find one of these units at any junkyard, they were also in 94-97 ish honda odysseys and 94-97 ish acura integras.... They aren't hard to find

im getting the same issues he is. I havent checked for any codes as i have never done it in my entire life time. My car starts up and whatever its doing it makes this EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH noise for about 10 seconds then shuts off and my abs light coems on...but during that noise if i press on the brake REALLY hard i can feel the noise vibrating through the brake pedal so something is up with the ****

Check the code, it's not that difficult. It may not be the same thing as the others.

The ABS system in '95 is supposed to make a buzzing noise when you start the engine. That's normal, the pump runs to pressurize the system. What's NOT normal is having the ABS warning light stay on. Read the error code & tell us what it is. You jumper the same SCS connector as when you read engine error codes. The ABS lamp will flash instead of (or along with) the check-engine lamp. Read about it in that thread I linked back in my earlier post.
