What you should do is raise your car back up. you do not need any more than a 1.5 inch drop on any car. More than that you start doing more harm than good

OR if you must have the dumped look then you could try wrapping some of that header wrap around the area that is scraping other then that your f**ked

Unless of cause you go 4-2-1 header lol…..

The 2 pieces of advice I can offer are....
-RAISE your car
-Weld a skid plate on the bottom of the headers

raise your car... too much drop can be detrimental to handling.

What car do you have? I have a feeling you only have 1 header.

If you don't like the other options. Make your own header using using box steel to try and give you more ground clearance nah just raise your car up or live with the damage to the header.oh yeah buy the way hitting the header like that will crack the welds and cause a leak

it won't do you no good if you weld it to the header. need to weld it somewhere sturdy off the header so that when it hits the floor its not pushing up on the header and putting stress on it.

Yep, if you just weld a big piece of metal to the header, all you're going to do is break your header. Headers aren't designed to be nailed, welding a plate to the bottom just transfers the force to another part of the header.

You should attach the skid plate to the frame or somewhere equally as sturdy, overwise all you're doing is wasting money.
