Anything is possible for cars, even anti gravity pulse generators. Why is this so hard to understand? Given enough time and money you could build ANYTHING out of ANYTHING but there is a point where the source material is no longer itself. A rear drive CRX would be so modified you could barely call it a CRX, but even that is subjective. Dont ask stupid questions or someone big and hairy will smack you right in the eye.

When you look at how the CRX sits, and how close your *** is to the rear wheels, it would be kinda cool if it was RWD. The ultimate car in my opinion, other then the short wheel base. It would almost resemble a sportster if it was convertable. anyway, FF for life!

 

Just keep it FF, spend your money a turbo kit and dont worry about the rwd.

Trying somethign different is for someone who is WILLING to spend more money that things usually cost. You cant take on a project like this and expect to do it in a tight budget. Since there's not a "kit" or drawn up plans you can buy, alot of its is planning and possibly trial and error, which can cost more than a basic build up.

Basically, if you dont have deep pockets, its not for you.

i do infact know of a shop that has been working on a demo/drag car that has 2 h22 autos in it, set up for all wheel drive.
it was done similar to that 98 tiberon way back in the day. most of you probably arent as old as me, so that reference will be pointless.
anyhow, it was stupid charged, or super charged or whatever, and was supposed to make almost 600 awhp.
i think it broke down like every other day or so. they never really got a real pass down the strip with it. i think they had something like 20 grand tied up in it. that wasnt counting labor.
but it was pretty whoop-*** in the parking lot though!
