DIY for emblem swap?

Default DIY for emblem swap?

Sorry if it's on here somewhere, but I couldn't find it....I know it's probably pretty easy, I just don't wanna mess anything up...if someone would point me in the right direction..i'd mighty oblige..

1.Take off the front bumper unscrew the front emblem apply the new 1.

2.Take off the back emblem apply new 1 which will be smaller then the stock 1 so line it up nice before applying.

3.Good luck.


P.S I forget if the back emblem is attached with glue or 2 small rivets apply some heat to it then try peeling it off it should work just go slow.

You gotta take the front bumper off??? LOL...that sucks..see I never do stuff like this...I have 2 good friends that know how to do these things..but i'm trying to learn..so i'm trying to do stuff w/out anyone's help...(physically that is)..I figured you did it from under the hood...well crap...how do u take the bumper off??

Sorry, like I said, don't do any of these things..

Open the hood pop off the rivets along the front of the bumper very easy to spot there are 4 of them.

Then use a allen key and take the 2 screws out holding the bumper they are big easy to spot.

Then remove all the rivets on the bottom of the car holding it in plus there are 2 allen key screws on each side under the car.

Then remove the screw on each side of the car in the front above each wheel then you are done do it in any order you like.

Its not real hard. Use floss on the back one to cut the glue from the car, then use a cloth and needle nose pliers to push the pin/rivits out from the inside of the trunk lid. Also, make sure you put the new seal rivits from the red h into the holes or you will have a water problem.
