Ground controls on stock shocks
anyone here put ground controls on stock shocks?
i'd like to know what it took to install. and what came in the kit.
does it fit in the stock cups? or do you remove them and use some adapter ring?
honestly, im trying to see if i can use my GC kit from my crx. (i will be using custom springs anyway)
the guy answering the phone at gc is not being too helpful.

well my lazy *** finally got around to seeing how the fitment is with my sleeves on the spare set of stock shocks i have. theyre missing the perches (user swapped them for konis which need the spring cups)
and it comes out ALMOST perfect. it slides nearly exact, until about .5" left before it fully bottoms out. its close. i measured the OD in the last half inch to be just 2.10 and the ID of the sleeve is 2.05". which means i just need to either sand the OD of the shock down, or the ID of the sleeve. 50 mil difference isnt much. i might just ask my machinist to turn the sleeves on the lathe. i dont think it will be any issue cutting that little off.
