Default Crower Stage 1 Camshaft

hello.

i was wondering if anyone on this board has the Crower Stage 1 camshaft? i'm curious to see what you think about them, the types of gains you received, and possibly reliability? i'm planning on going with the stage 1 because with the stage 2s, i would have to pick up the springs and retainer set, and get an aftermarket ecu like emanage to tune the car with.

oh, and to anyone that has the stage 1 cams, did you tune you car after you installed them?

thanks for the feedback

Last time I checked, you get around 10hp and 12 ft/lbs of torque, at the crank, which doesn't add up to much at the wheels. Maybe, say 5whp. I'd say it isn't worth it, unless you're planning a turbo kit in the future.

stage 2 requires a lot of work, and is totally not worth it.

Cam+springs and retainers + a tuning system = $$$$$

Plus i hear the gains arent even that great, and its VERY hard to tune it to be streetable.

i dont even think ude get to much of a gain from turbo cams on a low boost application. I though Turbo cams are usually designed for higher PSi's. Leave the stocker in.
