Del Sol Tach
My 97 Del Sol has a JDM B18C with the LSD 5 speed.
The Tach redlines at 8,000. I have seen red lines at 8,200 and as far up as 9,000 for that motor. Any ideas where I can get the decals with the higher red lines? I will if I have to but would rather not change out the whole cluster. Thanks, Bob

If you want it done right you are probably going to have to change out the Cluster. Either a DOHC Del-SOl or a JDM cluster will work great. Just changing the face can often throw off the accuracy of your gauge, I really would not suggest it.
Thanks for the reply, I have seen that picture somewhere ... I think there is one on E-Bay with KMs. Is 8,200 red line as high as the Del Sol tach comes? I was hoping for a 9,000 with a 10,000 range. Smiles, BJ
OEM parts follow the redline of the OEM engine they were installed with. B16A2/A3 engines redline at 8200.
S2000s redlined at 9000 (2004-on are 8000), but they have a digital cluster, which - last I heard - is a PITA to get working on older models.
If your engine had an OEM redline of 9000, you could always source a tach from a same-model car.

The problem with decals/stickers is if you don't put it on EXACTLY right, your tach will be off.
I've seen stickers for sale on eBay, but people will sell/buy anything there...
