Default Rebuilt motor now AT is slipping 90

Hi, we just got the 2.2 motor back together running great. Now the trans wants to pop out of gear at shift unless I baby it. At one point, motor was producing no throttle response, then threw CEL and immediately cleared up and was fine for 200 miles on the interstate.

Is the AT a computer controlled one on the 90 (meaning the CEL and the trans slipping could be related) or are these two different problems.

well first of all you need to pull the codes to find out what they are.
It seems like you know some what your talking about so just jump the SCS connector and see what codes flash out

Codes are 41 and 43 O2 sensor and lean condition, so I guess it's something different.

What should I do about the AT slippage? Not familiar with issues on the Honda trannys.

Also is the O2 code the cause or effect of the lean mix code?
