Hey, ive been having a problem with my Accord. The small light fuse keeps popping and I dont know why. I tried replacing the fuse with a 15 all the time but it doesnt work. Can someone please help me?? This happens when I try to turn my lights on. Right now my corner lights are out, the gauge lights are all off and also the Automatic transmission indicator lights are out also. I really need help so please hit me back up.

The "small light" fuse, according to the OP.

ledgendisdope.. Did you install an aftermarket radio, etc? If so, you might have connected the dash lights to ground. Otherwise, look for obvious sources of shorting on the affected circuit. I don't have handy accesss to a wiring diagram right now, so I'm sorry I can't offer more specific advice.

I have a deck installed and also an amp and 12 inch sub.. I noticed this problem happening after my cousin rewired my deck, maybe he did something wrong back there??

What color would the dash lights be, the wire..

^ i checked behind my deck, the only wire not connected to something is a red wire[i put tape around the end so it cant touch anything] and a blue wire[which is already taped].. im going to put in a new fuse[15a.] and ill tell u how it goes..

do you think that red wire couldve been the problem?? hopefully it was, what color is the dimmer wire usually?

Orange is usually the dimmer.

but he could have actually hooked up something to the wrong wire. do you know if he used a harness or did a "hack" job (not using a harness and trying to attach the wires manually)

and from what i can remember, red is the igniton voltage, so i bet he hooked it up to something else and its pullign too much power thru it. I bet if you put like a 20 amp fuse in there it won't pop.

and where is the remote wire for the amp connected to?

a different blue wire i guess.. maybe that wire was orange i couldnt see it right?? let me go check, because that wire was the only one dat was sticking out.

also the job was a hack job lol.. because he had to connect the wires and stuff manually, but everything worked from there on out until he went to mess with it again because one of the speaker wires had gone loose.

my last 15 popped, im going to go put a 20 in that spot, is that alright??

but i still have problems with my dashlight- it doesnt come on, neither does the parking lights.

the corner lights come on but it doesnt blink. the front bumper lights doesnt blink neither.. can someone pleaseee help me.. it has to be a fuse because i know all those bulbs cant go out all at the same time?? or can it??

well.

if its a fuse, check for the turn signal one.

and i still think something was connected wrong back there. its probably either shorting it out causing all that weird ness because maybe he grounded something wrong, or its pulling to much power thru a small wire.

gauge cluster works. rear signals work also.. its just the bumper and corner lights not working. so that makes it 4 bulbs.. im still thinking its a fuse unless all 4 bulbs blew?

could i have burnt wires or something??

these are the bulbs that are out.
corner lights- right side, the outer light is not working. left side, the the inner light doesnt work. and then the 2 bumper lights on the bottom. when i signal left it doesnt blink, signal right, still doesnt blink. im just going to try and replace one of the bulbs and see if that fixes the problem. can anybody help me please?? i have a feeling it isnt the bulbs.

i still think theres a wire connected wrong. it seems like soemthing is shorting out. i can't think of any fuses that it could be, because all the lights would be out not just the front or anything.

to see if you "burnt" the wries, just find one from a bulb that doesn't work and see if the insulation is melted off.

alrite ill check tommorrow when there is light. the thing about the wires being connected wrong.. i dont know, i had my deck installed a long time ago, and things always worked. but then i think one of my wires came loose[the grey one for the back right speaker] so i had my cousin reconnect that wire, maybe he connected it to the wrong one?? but the thing about that is - that speaker works fine now.. so i dont know what that problem could be?? i seen him take the grey wire and right when he put it to the red striped wire the back speaker started working again.
