Default ABS Unit, Could I remove without replacing everything?

I was removing my back seats and removing the rear side panels to redye my cloth and I saw the ABS unit.. its massive. Could I remove this unit without having to replace my brake lines etc? Or should I leave it alone?e

i assume you drive a 4th gen?

no you can't remove it without replacing everything. the actual unit itself is tied into the brake lines

you would need to get new brake lines

yeah, its not worth the 40-50 lbs (or whatever the hell it weighs)

If you want to turn the abs off for racing/autocross, keep the e-brake up (just enough so that the brake light is on) for a few seconds while driving until your abs light comes on, and your abs will turn off. then release the e-brake.
