Default Sensor under intake manifold???

Hey guys just like the title states. he goes i was taking off my intake to clean it from the in while my hondata gasket gets here. and saw that i have a sensor unpluged, i was like what **** and then tryed looking for it in manual but can't find it here. i think it's at my buddy's house. it's the sensor that's under the intake manifold. I thought that was the knock sensor but if it is why do i still have vtec. i would post a pic but don't know how

The one wire under it is the oil sensor. What exactly do you have? There is no such thing as a 96 USDM ITR.
