Brake noise when heavy braking
We replaced the Standard pads on my friends Civic Sport a couple of days ago as they were worn down alot.
We replaced them with Ferrodo Pads and althought the braking is just as good, if not better with these pads, when the ABS kicks in there is a rattly/rapid vibration coming from the left hand side of the car.
Anyone any ideas? I've checked all bolts I worked with and they're fine and tight.
Thanks in advance people.

BMW minded then?
as for your braking, when ABS usually kicks in, there is a pumping sensation coming from your pedal. depending on which side is slipping, you might only get that feel from 1 side of the car

Aye, he said it wasn't doing it before though, thats what I don't understand.
Yes, I am BMW minded. Love the rear wheel drive, and an M3 CSL is the car to have IMHO. I love it. Anyway, back on topic lol

Ahh, so you're from Europe, aren't you? That helps a bit, as well, since you get different models than we do. The 1.6L Sport that you're referring to, is a Europe-only model, so getting help with drivetrain problems might be a little tough from a predominantly United States forum. Not saying that it's impossible, just saying it might take a while. You may want to try the Acura RSX/Honda Civic EP3 forum, seeing as your 1.6 mainly resembles the Civic EP3.
I'm a little familiar with your car mate, i'm from England. EP2, i think it is...?
But from what you say it sounds like you've done everything right, and without looking at it or having a bit more info, it's hard to say what it could be really.
Maybe try re-checking EVERYTHING again? Even the things you didn't touch that are around that area.
Make sure you've got no stones or grit or anything stuck behind the backplates or whatever... i dunno, i'm clutching at straws here, lol.
Like Matt said, try the other forum or try civicsportsclub.co.uk or civiclife.net, both UK sites with EP owners on. Hope that helps ya mate
