offsets....17x8 17x9 vs 17x7.5 17x9
looking for feedback on either or both preferably,
more oversteer, understeer, stableness...etc.

If you're going to use the same tires, same offsets for the front wheels, then handling won't be much different at all. I'd go with the 7.5 and save a pound or two on the wheel.

17x7.5 +50 / 17x9 +63 will be your better bet for performance, since they are not as aggressive as the +45 x4. You can run 255+ on the rear of that 9" +63 as oppsoed to a 9" +45 with a 235 stretch (unrolled) 245 (rolled).

You can also use less camber with the 17X7.5 + 45/50 set up. Optimum camber IMO is probably around -1.5 or so. The car is double wishbone, and camber control on cornering comes from the upper control arm. So you should use a little less than a macpherson strut (RSX, S13/14, etc.) set up.
Just to add from my personal experience, a rear Kumho MX in 275/40-17 on a 17x9/+63 rubs a little on big bumps (-2.0 degrees of rear camber, stock suspension, not lowered). I need to roll the fenders.
