Fuel Gage
if i remember correctly the fuel pump doesnt send the signal for the gage. the is a seperate sensor that is accessable from under the plastic tray (crx) or back seat (civic). but as far as changin it i would recomend that you atleast trouble shoot (make sure all wires are connected, try good none cluster, ect..)before you go and waste money on stuff you really don't need.

If your Gas-ometer (I like the term, STFU) has been found to still be operational the part that has failed is the Fuel Meter Sender.
