Default D16Y8 Question

I shredded one of my rod bearings and some of the shavings went into the block. And another one from like ASAP is about $1200, but I only have $800 to spend. What should I do??

You should be able to get a good used D16Y8 or D16Z6 block for teh Cheap. So many people remove that motor for the DOHC swap. I used to have 2 in my garage that I would have nearly given to you...

I have one right here. It will need new bearings though. I just took 2 motors to make one. (z6 block, y8 head) I see you live in OK, I will sell it to you for $150 if you want to come get it. You would have to pay for the shipping if you want it sent. Hit me up if you are interested.
