My VTEC studders: I hit the 5200 rpms and then goes down to 4700 rpms then back up
I have a completely stock 98 HX and when im going down the road and hit 5200 rpms i fell the VTEC kick in or maybe its not VTEC i dont know but if it is then the rpms jumps down to 4700 rpms and shoot right back up. Why is this doing this, is it the tranny?

i dont think hx came wit vtec do u happen to knwo what motor it is? ------> ok i found my own answer... d16y5 is the problem only when you are at WOT?
