Default Dropping in new pistons

Im putting Type s pistons in the car ? Obviously they are a cast piston but .25 oversized....can i still run these ? Obviously i need to hone the cylinder wall first but no boring is involved with a .25 OS piston correct ? Also when installing new pistons what else should be replaced in the bottom end ?
