i got some srp pistons pressed onto rods and it doesn't fit properly (almost but way too tight) in my block.. putting new rings and all that good stuff on them, will i need to hone my block so the piston's will fit?

 

The question is.. What size bore were those pistons made for? Stock bore is 81mm. Find out exactly whats the specs of ur new piston... If theyre 81.25 then u need to bore ur motor out.. DO NOT FORCE IT IN... You can do a lot of damage!

 

Id recommend you taking it to a machine shop and having them check it over, it will need to be bored if you got oversized pistons.

 

yeah that's most likely what i'm gonna do.. more $$$ but oh well... turbo don't come cheap! koo!
