how to remove p/s belt?

Default how to remove p/s belt?
hi, im goin to the 1/4mile track tonight and im wondering where the p/s belt is and how id remove it. id appreciate it if you guys could help me out. thanks

Its the right at the bottom right corner of the valve cover. Loosen all the bolts holding the actual pump to the bracket (12mm I think) and then loosen the top adjustment bolt (10mm). Slip the belt off.

It makes a pretty good difference too, we just did this on my friends old school teg and it is noticable, especially when he tried to parrallel park

hehe ..but seriously do you guys think itll make a diffrence with my ET? is it worth it, or should i not even bother doin it? thanks for the info

if youre gonna just run it at the track... sure. but if youre going to drive with it off on purpose... NO.

If you remove it and drive it well, look for 14's. Also, lower your front tire pres. to 25 psi.
