Thats funny I have an 88 CRX DX which is lighter than your model and could drive pretty good and the only thing I could beat in the street are Geo Metros which are 3 cylinder

Very true... I can woop most V6-V8 Trucks since they are so heavy, in my stock 1990 CRX dx!

save some money and go bigger!!!! youll be pissed off down the line......i say LS-vtec, gsr or somethin, just save up somemore and get somethin else! you will be way happier!!!! i hated my b16 way under powered......my friend has a jdm gsr in his 93 si hatch and that thing rips like a ****!!!!! i love it!! GO BIG YOU WILL BE HAPPY!

god i wish i had done this. If i could take it all back, i would have dropped an ls w/ b16 tranny first, and waited to slap a vtec head on later. God i need more power, and im too cheap to buy a turbo!!!

my 10,000$= importbuilders b20 killer turbo bottom, importbuilders gsr killer head, f-max turbo kit, s1 trans with lsd, act stage 2= 450hp to the f*ckin wheels and 50 wet shot coming soon shhhh!
i had a b16... and that wasn't all that fun. quick and sporty, but defnitely not bad *** and fun.

ok......i can get a ls/vtec for about the same price as a b16 and i would be way faster!!!! all the b16's around here are slow....my friend has a b16 with i/h/e, skunk manifold, fpr, fuel pump, fuel rail, spoon ecu, freeflow cat, msd, cam gears, rc injectors, act clutch, on a y1 tranny, and more, and he has pretty much the fastest b16 around, this is in a 89 hatch pretty much stripped out pulling 14.7'son paradas!!! my friend has a ls/vtec in his stripped out crx with i/h/e and msd he pulls 13.1's on slicks! i hated my b16 and everyone i know hates theirs!!!! waste of money!!!!!!! yes you can build one, but out of the box 
i would rather go LS like i did and i am way happier and f/i on a ls is way better than b16!!! im just sayin that you should think about all this before you buy a b16!!!!

Sure the LS/VTEC's a great engine but i'd be a little wary of it's longevity.

my friend is named paul with the ls/vtec 13.1.....and my friend with the b16 hatch is a ppretty good driver.......i know some b16's are fast but most i see are not fast! and the owners are dissapointed! i see most b16 rexes and hatches in the low 15's at sears point and sacramento raceway. so im just sayin think about other stuff before you buy a b16.
