Default d16z6 tranny?????

i know about the fast that ef's are cable and eg's are hydro, but my question is will the z6 tranny fit into an ef? and with what axles? thanks...i tried to search but i didnt find any satisfying answers

Well it'd fit no problem, and you could you use your stock axles to the best of my knowledge. The problems come with the deletion of your front torque mount and the relocation of your rear mount bracket and passenger side mount, not to mention the hydraulic activation mechanism.

after replacing the shitty 4g diff pin, both tranny are equal in strength, but the nod goes to the 4g DX/Si 4th gear.

No need for a changeover.

i wouldnt mind running a 4th gen si tranny but i just bought a d16z6 and tranny for 200 bucks and would not like to spend anymore money than i would have to since i am doing this project on a very tight budget.....thanks

Well you are going to spend a nice chunk of money in custom fabrication (design isn't cheap)

i am capable in doing the fabricating myself, my main concern is which axles will work, i am not sure if the splines are the same between ef's and eg's
