ok after i fixed my vaccuum prob earlier i started the car and it ran fine with no codes. good and steady idle. then i went to hook up the reverse light(my cousin said it was the yellow and green wires and connect those to the 2 green wires coming off the transmission) after i hooked up the wires i didnt have reverse lights and the car wouldnt start. so i got out my battery charger and the car started but is running crappy. it idles at 2k then drops down and almost dies. i checked all the wiring under the hood and everything is connected? can anybody maybe help me find the problem. thanks

 

check your main grounds

 

they are grounded good. sucks cuz it was running perfect when i fixed the vaccuum prob 20 minutes earlier then i had to try and hook up the reverse lights and thats when it went to ****. thought i blew a fuse but i didnt. this is weird.

Well, why don't you disconnect the reverse lights again and see if that helps? I mean, it's the only logical course.

1) Car runs Fine
2) Fiddled with one thing
3) Car runs shitty
