PM10 >>>>SEARCHED everywhere and need to know what car its for
its an intake that came on the car i just bought. it says pm10 on it and i need to buy a throttle gasket but dont know which one its from. i bought the intake gasket from a d16a6 and it worked but throttle face plate doesnt. its a soch zc btw.
I told u it looked like a damn EG cx manifold judging by how tiny it was. Ask somone in the EG forum what a cx manifold has stamped?
i know u did i already asked a pro from a shop what it was and he said its nothing he has ever seen..... so yeah.... plus i went to a shop to buy the throttle face plate gasket and he couldnt match any from the other eg's.... plus it looked" doesnt cut it. thats only what hacks try to do. i need a for sure cus im not out to build a ghetto rigged EF. never have and never will.

Well then take that manifold off and put on the proper PM6 one. Problem solved.
I know "looked like blah blah blah "doesnt cut it. I also said try the EG forum and ask what a CX manifold has stamped.

well yeah... ur right..... i can do that. it came with the soch zc for a reason though. i might need some vacumm lines from that block for some other reason. plus, the inside of the intake is more hollow then the pm6. it might make an easier flow and might have a bigger thottle face plate then the pm6 (judging by the gaskets i tried on the face plate. i did post it in the eg forum. i also do understan that the EF'ers try most of the ZC engines then the EG'ers. they just have most of the oldest engines and therefore have most of them replaced with the sohc zc then on the EF forums, so if someone has swapped one of the newer ZC's to their car, they might have gone through the same problem and therefore must have an answer to my questions. or who knows,,, ill just do it the ghetto way and get some cardboard and fabricate it myself.

Who knows what it orignally came with. Hell, it could have had a pair of carbs on it for all we know (some sohc zc's were carb'd). In a USDM EF, your best bet is to run a PM6 manifold. Other manifolds will work just fine as well (some needing rerouted vac lines and other small stuff), such as the sohc vtec manifolds or EG DX manifolds.
Strictly from personal experience: Having seen your motor already and other sohc ZC's come straight out of the shipping containers, your "PM10" deal doesnt appear to be original to the motor.

then why are you using such a tiny manifold? gas mileage or what? </TD></TR></TABLE>
lol.... size doesnt matter. lol......... no .... im saying the interior of the intake looks like it holds more mass = less weight = more air flow to the head
also if the throttle is face plate has a bigger diameter, there is a higher capability for faster and smooother air flow. since were speculating that it holds a smaller mass, i want to make sure so i can make the investment of a pm6 intake worth the hassle.
