Just installed short shifter, but...
Sup HT pplz
I just installed a Cs short shift kit into my eg. Throw is definitely shorter, however its stiff like ****! Am i supposed to use the original bushings at the bottom of the shift stick? Or did i just bolt it too tight?
Any advice would be great before i get back under my car to check it out.
Thanx

All shifters are stiff when you put new bushings in, add a short shifter at the same time and it gets even stiffer. It is just shifter shock, you are so use to the mushy stock one and the soft bushings.
it will free up in a couple days and feel much better.

especially with the C's it is supposed to be stiffer so u dont have that loose "play" that you have from a stock shifter. hopefully u moved up to some ES shifter bushings too or else u get back under the car n replace those
