it is not true that they will stop producing the hood, in fact they are bringing one up to me mid june. they have stopped shipping them, because supposedly every one of their sixty hoods except for one was damaged while shipping, so they said it was not worth it top ship them. he said that they will only be made for pick up.. but he also said that they travel to san jose a lot, which means only 20-30 mins from san mateo area to pick up a hood.

 

That's some good news.

They should be shipping mine soon. I have confidence it will show up in good shape. They said they have resolved all there shipping problems.

 

I have a question: I missed the prior threads, I guess when the hood was introduced, what`s the big stink about them? I`ve owned numerous FI and Sunny hood and they have been fine. Are the Factor X hood that much better?
