My friend and I just did a JDM ITR 98 spec swap in my EG yesterday. I'm running my LS stock header with my stock D16Z6 cat and exhaust. I have the JDM header. If there is a thread on this please point me to it. I'm looking for an exhaust that has the best power without the rice sound. Also, what size outlet will the Omni test pipe have. I would love to run 2.5" exhaust or is that necessary to maximize power?

It's not a bad exhaust at all, I like it's tone never heard much bad about them althought not many people rock Tanabe anymore.

I'd custom make a 2.5" exhaust myself based on your taste of tone and noise tolarence.

 

I would love to go with a mandral bent 2.5" custom..... but cant't find a mandral bent fabricator? any help?

i went with a kteller bolt on kit, and welded on my own magnaflow muffler and resonator.
