need help with '89 accord si...
need help with '89 accord si(with the flip up lights)...
sometimes.. especially if the car hasnt been used for a while.. it wont start...
ive talked to a few people and i have been told that its not the battery because there is still power going thru to the engine... but it just wont start...

LXi model maybe? Fuel injected?
The spark plugs really old?
Those TEK brand dist rotors are weak and will sometimes short the spark thru to ground. Very cheap and easy to replace.
Do you have a multi meter to do sensor testing?
Have you checked the ECU for any codes?

well it says si on the back... and it is fuel injected...
spark plugs are probably real old...i dunno... it used to be my mums car and i never used to have anything to do with it...

oh sorry didn't see you are not a USA poster;
Why not go ahead and try some fresh spark plugs [NGK BPR5EY-11 I think] and a new dist rotor.
If you still have problems after that, post back for some more help.
