Default Greddy Knockoff BOV - Do These Work/Sounds as GOOD as the Real?

Looking for a cheap BOV for my budget setup.

I heard about the knockoff blovs being just as good and sounding good, but dont know what ebay seller has them for cheapest. Tihs seller seems to have the cheapest ones.

Curious of there function of sound

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAP...h=020

Thanks

I heard from people that use the knock-off bov that you'll need to take that second spring out. Not sure what they mean by this. I think the best knock-off bov is the ssauto chrome RFL bov, cause I have one and it work great. My cousin brought a rfl from a different seller and it wouldn't open at all. The valve was stuck shut.

I had a greddy rs style bov, paid 60 buck for that awhile ago. It started to leak and my idle surge, finally i decided to take it apart and the gasket is cracked.

I then decided to buy another ebay bov, this time a greddy type s style. So far i open it up and put the spring that was in my RS into the S but it still doesnt blow off. SO my next step is to cut the spring i guess

had one a while back and it wouldnt open. i took it apart anf found that the only major difference between the real vs. fake type s was the diaphram. the fake used a crappy brittle o-ring

don't be a cheap ***. you get what you pay for.
i seriously doubt any actual greddy bov requires you to cut a damn spring before it'll work decently

You realize you just said you'd rather spend $120 extra rather than spend 20 minutes and cut a spring? You realize this is basically saying your time is worth more than $360 an hour as thats how much you would have to make for this to be not worth your time.

How do you get one for $11?

Most companies ask $5-10 for the unit, then $30 for shipping

I have a Type S style one that I'll be using on my setup. Excuse me if its not cool that I would rather take a few seconds to cut the spring and save a **** load of money.

Removing the inner spring relieves some tension and should stop the nasty compressor surge. Unless your running high boost you wont blow off a greddy bov, authentic or not. Both use an inner and outer diameter spring. I also had to do this to my authentic Greddy type RS.

lol honestly you are one angry person for knocking on a product that has worked great for many people. You really do sound ***** hurt that either you are spending a lot or your spent a lot and your car is still slow.

And no I didnt use any knock-offs, you just sound like A tool when you come in here trying to act like you are better than everyone else. Do everyone a favor and go stick your small dick in your authentic bov
