i guess that would depend on your intended use for the engine and budget

Cant go wrong with Carillo, Manley or Pauter.

I personall stay away from Eagle. I read before that there are some balancing issues with Eagle. Although, you will have a ton of people swear by Eagle. No since in skimping on your rods.

Carrillo rods are far better than Eagles...
Another place to look at buying a set is Exospeed...

it ultimately depends on your intended use for the engine

Here's a cut and paste of some information I posted up about Carrillo rods a few weeks ago. We're a Carrillo Rods sport compact distributor and sponsored team. We can get you the Carrillo Rods no problem.

Here's the info:

Carrillo Rods has 3 options for rod choices.

We're a Carrillo Rod authorized dealer and we get this misinformation all the time. Most people dont know that there are several choices to pick from.

Pro-A all motor lightweight application with 5/16 WMC rod bolts
Pro-SA medium duty with 3/8 WMC bolts
Pro-H heavy duty with 3/8 WMC bolts(for setups not planning to take apart motor often)
Pro-H heavy duty with 3/8 CARR bolts(best rod bolts in the business, minimal rod stretch, can take apart rod bolts/caps and can reuse many times)

FYI:
MSRP prices for 4cyl
Pro-A $830
Pro-SA $890
Pro-H WMC rod bolts $1040
Pro-H CARR rod bolts $1260
Custom non-off the shelf part#s $1260

PM me for actual prices. its about 20% off for what we sell the rod kits
