Default NEED HELP QUICK......AC related

Heres the problem....tonight, i started up my car to move it and i let it idle for maybe 3 minutes. My friend noticed that it was idling funny and asked if the AC was on. Well, it was turned all the way hot and in the off position. The weird thing was that the AC lines were frozen and their was a layer of frost on them. I need to drive my car for about 2 hours on saturday and for a while tomorrow and I don't want this to cause any problems. I don't know what the deal is but as of now, I don't need the AC and I would just like to disable it for the time being. Anyone have ANY suggestions???

not using the AC is no good,the thin lines could stuck and then the pump blows better to run it even sommer or winter for a period to make sure the fluid not carbonate in the thin lines.

(try to get me ,im german sorry)

Remove the compressor relay, remove the comp. clutch fuse or disconnect the clutch wire.

@chiovnidca
deaktivating the AC for LONG period w/o removing the fluid will destroy the thin lines of the AC system...
in his case its only for a few weeks,then he can go as u descriibed

I aggree with bb-3, BUT in the case of this situation, you should be able to pull the ac fuse and be fine. BUT as a warning, dont do this for too long. It sounds like fluid has already begun to build up if you're getting frost collecting on the tubes. Honda recommends you run your ac atleast once every 3-4weeks to keep the lines clear. You can also run your AC with the heat on, as this prevents fog build up (the ac unit acts as a de-humidifier).
