code 36??? and 10

Default code 36??? and 10

i have 2 problems.. 1.. i changed my IAT sensor and it still throws out cel code 10...2.. i get code 36 ...( 3 long flashess 6 quick flashes)but i cant find code 36 on this website.http://www.c-speedracing.com/faq/05.php

can someone pleaseee tell me wat else could b wrong with the iat sensor..brand new wire harness and brand new iat sensor.. 95 delsol b16 in my 96 civic ex.. thanks alot honda tech..

did you reset the ecu after you changed the sensor.....and there is not a code 36

yes i did....idk..i got 3 long flashes and 6 quick1's..idk =[the iat is the sensor on the intake manifold right??

yeah 10 is the air intake temp sensor....
well hondaswap.com has a reference section for 88+ civic error codes, and i didnt see a code 36..it went from 31 to 41..pretty much skipped all the 30's....cause i dont believe there is any...check it out i guess

yeah its on the manifold...it should be a 2 wire plug that is white i think

The only thing I can think of is when someone put on your wire harness it got pinched and messed up the IAT wiring.

To see if the IAT is working fine just blow a hair dryer at it and hoop up a ohm meter up to the sensor, If resistance drops as temp increases its fine.


If that's good its your wiring.

soo0o0 anyone know how i can fix my traction control cel.. code 36...and yes it is a jdm ecu..p30...and thanks for all the help guys!!

i dont think you have traction control, so need to worry about it.

You have to get a non-traction control ECU to get rid of the CEL

Find wiring diagrahm of jdm P30 and find the wire for traction and just ground it would be my suggestion. Or get a chipped P28.
