hey i have a crx when it rains or gets wet water leaks through to the inside underdash/kick panel area i was wondeirng if anyone had this problem and knew how to fix this worried i do not want this to affect my ecu. thnaks in advance..

 

On your passenger side or your driver's side? You mentioned your ECU so I'm leaning towards passenger but I don't know.

 

passenger, and driver side slightly i found a few threads im leaning towards the windsheild seal im going to have to inspect it more i geuss to be sure..

 

Mine was leaking through the fresh air vent.

 

hmm good to know where exactly is that located? iw ant to check numer ous things as im not driving the car currently

 

mine leaked ONCE when it was storming under the steering wheel by my knees. its cuz the wether strips and the other protecion they use gets old. ima replace all those wether strips and plastic trim around the windows and doors to keep water but mainly cuz the car will look brand new along with a paint job.

Take off the wipers and the cowl under them. There is a fresh air vent on the drivers side. It is held down with two snap things. Pull them out and get the fresh air duck out. I cleaned mine real good and siliconed it back on.
