Default front end visibility/dimensions

Sup guys. I was wondering if any of you have forward visibility issues with your 06+ civics. I sat in one the other day and no matter how high I put the seat or even leaned forward, I couldn't see the front of the hood. On my prelude I like being able to see the little headlight bulges cuz it gives me a good idea of how much I have when maneuvering the car in tight areas. Do you guys have any trouble with this bc of the very short hood? Also, are the forward A pillars much of an abstruction for most of you? I'm already expecting to rear blind spots to be crap, as in most honda coupes, but I just wanted to get some opinions on the other issues. Thanks.

Peter

That was the point of the design so the hood doesn't obstruct ur view. The front end is so short u don't have to worry bout judgin where it is really. Most cars recently are like this.

that doesn't bother me any, glad i don't see any of that to be honest with you, and i think what your talking about there only refers to preludes, my 00 civic wasn't like that

I personally like the short front end. No matter how close I think I am to the person opposite me when parking, i end up being a foot away.

Honda has been using the cab forward design for years. You get used to it.

It was akward at first but after a day's worth of driving you dont even think about it. And I dont have any issues with blind spots due to the the a or c pillars.

The worst part of visibility by FAR are the two front pillars.. They are so wide that they can literally block the view of an oncoming car from the right angle, and when pulling out on to a road complimentary to the one you're on, you have to give a second look to make sure you don't miss an oncoming car that's only partly visible to you.

I noticed when I sat in the sedan that the bottom has a little triangular glass piece. Is it the same on the coupe? And does it help at all?
