doesnt matter as long as its for your car, mine had a koyo now its a fluidyne, its thicker so it runs a few degrees cooler thats about it

if its made for a gsr from 94-01 then it really doesnt matter because they all meet the rite specs one way or another, one may be thicker or thinner but they will both line up the same

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by teg_racer &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">if its made for a gsr from 94-01 then it really doesnt matter because they all meet the rite specs one way or another, one may be thicker or thinner but they will both line up the same</TD></TR></TABLE>

It DEFINATELY matters which one you pick, Showa or Denso. Because the fans for the two different OE brand radiators are slightly different.

So if you buy a Denso replacement KOYO, and it turns out your radiator is the Showa brand, your fan will not line up properly for fitment.

Sorry I can't tell you how to find out which model you have, but make sure you get the correct replacement! Good luck.

have you used the search feature....
also if i were you i would head over to TI ......
Well it matters if your planning to use the stock fans...but most will use slim fans 1. beacause it free up space 2. it cools better then stock(depending on brand)3. you can use it as a pusher or puller....
Also look around either on your fan radiator anything to give you a hint that says showa or denso....also hit up your koyo or fluidyne dealer and ask him....but its less headache with a slim fan imo....
