Default 44mm wastegate fit 40mm flange

I am not talking about the v-band obviously. I have a manifold flanged for a Tial 40mm wastegate but since it's been discontinued, it's hard and hard to find it. Will a 44mm wastegate fit my 40mm flange? TIA

you can either cut the 40 flange off and weld a new 44mm flange on. or build a small adapter piece.

take the 2 flanges pictured above, weld a small section of tube in between... bada bing... now you have an adapter.

I wasn't aware of this. I think you are right. I didn't see a single non vband 44mm wastegate. I'll cut of the flange and weld a new one one.
