shift knob Q
hey i searched this already, but didnt find anything. does anyone know of a WEIGHTED shift **** that looks like or similar to the TWM Type-R shift ****, but just doesn't have the TWM Logo on it? thanks for any help.
I have the skunk2 weighted shift ****. Its much smaller than stock ex, and still haven't fit the boot up towards the ****... I like the weight, and haven't had issues with 3rd gear since. Only minus that i've noticed is how COLD it gets in the morning!!!
I personally found that on certain cars a shift **** that is too heavy I don't really care for. I bought a Skunk 2 **** for my EF like 3 years ago, had it on for 5 minutes then took it off and eventually sold it. I found that it was just too heavy and slowed my shifting down. I don't know if the cable shifter in the Si would feel different with a heavy **** like that. I currently have, and really think is the best shape/weight--the OEM factory aluminum **** for a 2000-2001 s2000--Looks like a more cone shaped version of the Skunk 2 **** only its made out of aluminum instead of stainless steel so its a bit lighter. You can get it at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com. I think it has a better shape than the DC Integra typer **** and since its aluminum its lighter and the weight is perfect. Its around $35-$40--and for you Si guys its perfect because it has the 6 spd. gear pattern on top. I think like with any thing else in life--there should be a balance--not too heavy and not too light.
There was/is an optional S2000 **** that looks identical in shape to the stock aluminum s2000 ****, only its made out of titanium so its a bit heavier--its around $120.
