Hey everyone. This is a little old, but I thought I share anyways. This happened three days before Christmas. Lucky me, huh. I was on my way home from work in the morning and this accident happened literally five houses down the street from my house!


I was going around the block, my street is a one way, going about 25 mph when all of a sudden I saw this white Pontiac Sunfire do a "rolling stop" through a STOP sign. It had been raining earlier that morning and it obviously didn't help that I slammed on the brakes when I notice the girl punching/gunning it. Well she hit my passenger side about 10-15 mph. Yea, I know it doesn't seem like much, but she dragged my car pretty good.


It was actually the curb that stop my car from sliding. I saw her and she didn't see me. I slammed on the horn for like 2 seconds before we hit, but that didn't help. I even try swerving to the left hopping that she would stop even a few inches from my car, but that too didn't work. She told me that she didn't even hit her brakes cuz she panicked and it happened so quickly. Yea, maybe if she wasn't gunning it through the intersection!!!


So as I hit the curb, my car dies out, I unbuckle my seatbelt and jump out yelling and screaming at this chick. She was fine and so was her passenger for anyone that cares. She comes up running to the passenger side looking at the damage on my car. I look at it too, walk around yelling and slam my hand onto the trunk. (im an idiot, I know)


She panics and starts telling me to 'follow her'. I'm like WTF?!?!!! Follow her?? Huh?? She says it like four more times 'follow me'. And she keeps walking to her car and I'm yelling at her not to f**kng leave. Well, what do you know, she jumps in her car and starts taking off. I immediately pull out my cell phone and dial in her license plate number. I start asking her passenger where the F**K the other girl was going. As I dial 911 and start speaking with the dispatcher, I notice her passenger looking at me like F**K this I'm out!!! So I get done with the dispatcher, tell the passenger not to leave and all of a sudden I see the girl that hit me running down the street towards me. I'm confused as hell at this point. As she gets to me, she starts hyperventilating/panicking. She sits on the curb the as cops pull up. First thing the cops asks is "where's the other car"???? Hahahaha.


To make an already long story a bit shorter, the girl has a suspend drivers license and no insurance. Cop pulls out his hand cuffs, tells her to turn around, and places her under arrest. She had it coming. She knew it.


Damage: need a new mugen replica side skirt, new fender, new door, (but not the whole thing), and hopefully not, some suspension/brake parts. Wheel is all fvcking scratched.

and to correct the above poster about licenses and the sort. You may want to check your local laws about having a license and what it means. Alot of the time having a drivers license isnt a requirement to drive, nor is insurance. you just have to have the capacity to pay for the damage you cause out of pocket. the whole not having insurance ticket is a joke in most states, and can be thrown out in court. You drive, you cause damage you pay...its as simple as that.

I know in utah if you don't have insurance and you're pulled over you will be arrested or have a 800 fine that can't be dismissed in court.. they're very strict here

 

jeez that sucks, hope it gets fixed the right way!! I gotta admit, I was the *** who drove with a suspended license for quite awhile, but hell i still had insurance the whole time!!

 

What's bad about driving without a license but with insurance is....you really don't have coverage. They'll check if you have a wreck to see if you were driving legally. If you weren't, you're screwed. You were paying for insurance, and now you'll pay for the wreck.

 

I dunoo, if you are paying for them to insure you, I think they have to pay no matter what, since heck half the accidents that happen, the driver is doing something illegal to cause it, even if a cop says its reckless or careless, so they can't weasel out of paying it if they did carry your insurance.

 

that really sucks man. hope you're taking the proper legal action to rectify this. condolences to your car man! no doubt that **** will buff right now.

Thanx all. The Wings West front spoiler has no damage to it whatsoever.
Amazing! It's very flexible plastic. Which one, I don't know.
Intercooler and piping were untouched from what I can tell. I'm not sure if you guys are joking or not, maybe bad picture, but it will definitely not buff out.

buffin was so not a joke.......a few rounds with an orbital and itll be good to go!!!!1!one!!!!1!!

 

Damn that sucks, but she deserves what she got, hope the car has bno other damage then exterior.
