Default Baseline Dyno

Hey guys, I recently (back in the summer) bought the complete front clip of a jdm type r, and then swaped over the front end and motor. I was quite impressed with the numbers it put down. The motor is stock with about 60,000Km's (38,000 miles) and here is the graph.

At the time I was happy with the results, but now I'm ichin for more. Ideally, would like to get 220 whp, but I know that will take a ton of time and money, so I'm shooting for 200whp, do you guys think that's realistic? Right now the only mods are a 2.5" exhaust from the jdm header back.

Thanks

That is easily realistic, it's been done numerous times including by myself. Time, dedication, and money is the key.

I havent seen a baseline chart in a while, let alone a JDM base chart.

You could easily make another 10 whp out of that setup with a chipped obd1 ecu and a set of camgears. Tuning would be key :-)

I'm close to 200 WHP with just I/H/E. It can be done with just bolt ons.

I don't think what I keep telling you is confusing, but I'll say it once more. I am the original owner of your type r. I did not blow the engine in your car. I do not know what the hell you mean by "prolonging gears." The transmission worked perfectly well when I owned the car. Yes I tracked the car, and it was in great condition when I sold it. Yes it was boosted, and the compression checked out great after I removed the jrsc and sold it. I still have the compression numbers, along with a 15" stack of receipts, maintenance information, and documentation for every little thing that ever happened to the car in the 6+ years that I owned it.

I freely gave you an hour of my time one evening telling you all about the car's history, and what I know about the intervening 2nd owner of the car who trashed it before he traded it in at the dealership. At one point I even offered to look at the car to check out the wiring mess created by the 2nd owner. You repeatedly accusing me of molesting the car must be the thanks that I get.
