B20Vtec build ?'s
i searched so get off my nuts and pay attention
im gettin ready to build a b20vtec setup. ive been workin on cars for abotu 5 or 6 years and am somewhat new to the performance side of all motor hondas.
first off which block would be better if any the b20b or the b20z?
as far as parts i was plannin on runnin the stock crank with cp pistons (quoted at 12.5:1 with a b16 head and 84.5mm), with some eagle h beam rods and a block guard.
as far as the head i was gonna run a b16a3 head with buddy club spec 4 cams, with omni power valve springs and retainers, do a decent port job and an intake mani and some good headers.
now my question is :
1: will the cams be too extreme for the clearance thats given with the 12.5:1 pistons and the b16 head
2: if i bore the block to 84.5 will the walls be to thin for comfort and would they be reliable for the high rev im lookin for or should i switch to the 84mm pistons
and 3: at 12.5:1 i wouldnt be able to run 93 octane for daily driving would i?
any helpful comments, helpful info from what you have encountered would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks in advance
and also in the same respect i was also contemplating just runnin a b16 and gettin a stoker kit for it. so which one would you recommend?

Creating a thread and immediately being a dick telling everyone to "get off your nuts" and "pay attention" is an interesting way to go about getting help. Considering how generic your questions are, something tells me you didn't spend much time searching at all.
Here's a nice thread for you to read - https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1676914

well every time someone makes a thread anywhere on honda-tech they tell them to search.
and yeah i "didnt search" considering the fact that ive spent the last 2 days reading thru all of the ls/b20vtec threads. thanks but good try.
like i said any HELPFULadvice will be GREATLY appreciated
