Best shocks with crx suspension
iim currently looking at Ground Control Coilovers.. and now im not sure if i want Tokico Illumina Shocks, Koni Sports, or KYB sport shocks. I know these are adjustable shocks, but do i really need adjustable shocks with coilovers? Or should i find a pair of springs with aftermarket shocks?
You need to figure out if you need adjustables your self we can't tell you all you'll hear is bandwagoners who own what they push or what the mob tells them.
Frankly Koni is the best shock out there if you need on car adjustables or not is up to you.

Koni Yellows, hands down.
Koni's been in the business a while. They know what they're doing and they're built like a tank.
If you're going to buy performance shocks, I highly advise an adjustable set. Coilovers are great for people who want to be able to raise and lower their ride in less than 30 minutes. Adjustable shocks allow you to set your rebound/damper so you can go between "Highway Cruise" mode and "Stiffazz Track" mode. =D

that all depends on if you want to raise or lower your ride... and or if you need to change the rebound rate ie: whether you do drag, auto-x, dd, or weekend warrior...
this is all your decision

well im just asking for opinions. Because i know adjustable shocks are more pricey, but im just wondering if i really need them with already adjustable coil overs? and if its worth the money, that is all. I will be dragging it, and autox it
then def you would want adjustable everything, basically because they are two totally different fields of racing... the adjustability gives you the option to fine tune to the type of track/ strip your on...
I do not run coilovers, my vehicle is a summer weekend warrior... i stuck with springs and adjustable shock/struts
technically if you bought anything it would have been a better buy if you bought adjustable shocks/struts over coilovers (adjustable springs) because you can still be higher in the air (stock springs) with a decent suspension setup and still run alright times in auto-x with adjustable shocks/struts.
