Default Rear disk Brakes???

I have a 03 civic ex with rear drums. I was woundering if anyone has swaped out the drums for rotors before.
Can I get the rotors off of another car, if so what car.
Or does anyone make a kit at a good price.

And what would i do with the e-brake after i do the swap, since the car is a 5 speed. Thanks for your help.

Yes it can be done,

if u want to stay 4 lug...
01-05 Acura EL
02-03 civic Si ( Ep3)

if u want 5 lug
02-05 RSX
04-05 Ep3.

No kits exist, u have to buy everything from a wrecker.

I am actually in the process of doing the swap right now. It is not a difficult swap by any means, it is pretty much a straight bolt-on, but I also did my own Kswap so..... Anyway I thought that it would be cool to keep a thread going on 7thgen to track the progress. There is also a good DIY on 7thgen. Anyway if you are interested here is my thread on it. http://www.civicforums.com/for....html

The install will not take place until spring, I don't drive my car much in the winter, but if I had to for one reason or another I want to keep the salt off, for atleast one season.
