so in this mod ur basically cutting along the w/e is marked in orange? nothing is being removed from the stock box? and does the cover go back on after?

 

Yes. You're just cutting out that plastic divider and the "fins" along the inside edges of the box. When cutting the middle out be sure you dont cut through the bottom of the box though. To be honest with you i did this mod to my stock airbox and i didnt notice ****. Yes the cover has to go back on after.
