Default wind noise from soft top!!!

How do I tighten the hooks on the softtop to pull it tighter to the car ... when i pull down on the top the windnoise stops... i know most cars you just have to spin the hooks and it tighten and losens it... how do i do this to the s2k ???

if the stikers are worn replace and the adjustment tabs are on each side to the outter edge behind the seats.
there is a tab witha 12mm or 14mm nut.. loosen and adjust the tab in or out ...

DO NOT get the new striker before you check your old one out.

mine was loose(seems to be common problem with ap1, i checked couple and it's the same), the screw can be hand loose but without taking the plastic off it doesnt rattle or shakes like it should.

when you tighten it down, make sure you use thread lock to keep the screw from getting rattle loose.

great post i have the same problem, i replace the strikers for hardtop ones. still have the same problem.. and the softop lock. make nosies every time i get a bump or a hole... do i need need sofotop lock?

They are the part that the hooks hook to.

Ok so i just replaced my strikers with the newest ones out. I still have a 4-5mm gap which is allowing air in and lots of wind noise, is there a top adjustment i can make

Move the latches towards the rear of the car, move the catchers towards the front. If that still doesn't work, put rubber tubing around the hook part of the latches.

you can not do that with either of those items

i just put some electical tape on the strikers ( 3 strips of tape on each one) and it worked fine .... temp fix till i get the hardtop
