Default What size tire for my setup???? Need a quick response please.

I just ordered some 16x7 vsr wheels, I have a crx on kyb-g with tenzo springs. Its gonna be lowered about 2 inches.

What size tire should I get?? Im looking into getting the neo gens, but I dont know how they are in the winter. Anyone know of a good tire for winter, and street?? Cause I dont plan on getting some tires for a while and I want these to last through most of the warmer days.

do you have snow where you live? because if you do, then you might buy a summer set and a winter set. from my experience with "all season" performance tires, they work great if it never snows, but you have no traction when it does. i would get something like 4 bridgestone potenzas for summer and 2 Sam's club mud and snow for $50 a peice for winter if you are on the cheap.

if you've got lots of money, get falken azenis rt615's for summer, and bridgestone blizzaks for winter.

blizzaks come close to good for year round performance, but they are really soft, and sipped so youll go through a set a year driving a lot on pavement. good luck with the search.

those will be great for summer and rain.

the tread blocks aren't deep enough for any kind of snow however, even an inch. take it from me, i had to curb the hell out of my car in an inch of snow before i learned the hard way that even crappy snow tires are better than fixing your suspension in -10 degree weather. i was running bridgestone potenza re?930?s when that happened, which looks to be about the same specs as those tires. mine were also rated all season.. but they sucked royally if it snowed at all.

i know you are probably worried about money, exactly like i was. but trust me on this.. spending $100 to get 2 snow tires for the front for winter and running the kumho tires you just bought from early april to mid october will be the best thing you ever did to keep your car pointed in the right direction when the weather takes a dump on you.

I might actually end up doing that. Thanks for the info.

They shouldnt claim these tires all season if they cant cut it...

fixed Pointless to have to tires with the winter driving characteristics when the rear tires don't.
