If it is -10 and you had mostly water you were asking for trouble

If you have a radient space heater, then i would jack the car up slightly and try to de-thaw that way. There should be two hoses that are on your firewall coming from radiator. these feed the heater core. take one off and flush with water hose. If you do not have a clog here then the problem is in the heater valve. the valve shoul be located under the dash. locate and make sure iit is not stuck in the cold posistion. hope this helps

check heater valve and it moves. i think it just the fact that it was mostly water and it's been below 0 the last few days

For one get a coolant tester and check your coolant or....just drain your coolant (plug on the bottom of radiator) and fill it with new coolant. Now Ive ran into some serious cooling problems after my swap and ive bleed my coolant system a shitload of times (nipple on t stat housing). after that if u still have no heat check your heater valve. its the black thing iwth the little **** that turns. If you experiment with that and still nothing I would try disconnecting the hoses and using a water hose to blow out your heater core because Ive replaced a heater core in an ef and its a BITCH. GL

my DX does not heat up if its lower than about 20 degrees F, unless i drive it for about 30 mins. my SI heats up to about the quarter way mark lower than 20. my suggestion is to cover half your radiator with a peice of cardboard and some tie straps until it warms up outside.. the ef radiator, in my opinion, is grossly over engineered for hot conditions, so when its really cold, the car just doesnt heat up. good luck staying warm.

i just noticed you were running only water.. get some antifreeze in it as soon as possible.

I think its pretty obvious the problem. You were running the wrong mixture and your coolant froze up in some spots and stopped waterflow. Your lucky you didn't crack the block or something. Flush it all out, park it in a heated garage or something, let it thaw out and then put the right mixture in it.
