Default Code 41?

My car is throwing a code 41. SGT said it was due to the 02 sensor on the header, but it is in place and the plugs are connected, so what could it be? thanks. should i try and reset the ecu to see if it still throws the code

Is the sensor new or did you check it out? carbon deposit?

If all the wiring to O2 sensor is good, then you'll most likely need a new OE Honda O2 sensor. You can use a torch blower to get rid of the carbon deposit, but nothing beats a brand spanking new Honda O2 sensor.

btw, are you running mods that made your A:F ratio a lot richer than stock?

I believe new O2 sensor is quite expensive, but don't skimp out on it (read: Bosch or some autostore O2 sensors don't perform like OE Honda one). I think it's priced between $150-$200. Definitely not cheap, but it's a must.
