look closely at this picture, is it in face a 1998 LS tranny or no

96+ have VIN tags.

not always correct.

Transmissions/Engines from Canada don't have the VIN plate

but they have the holes in them still from casting.

this is a 94-97 B-series tranny. i couldnt tell you if its a del sol or grs or ls tranny from the outside. i can only be sure about the year of the tranny.
