I am interested in buying the '98 ITR that youhave placed for sale now, and I would want to enquire about the presentcondition of the above mentioned, as well as some detail about you. I expectm this timely enough.
As for the payment, I would need you to get back in touch with the last asking price as I will be paying with a cashiers cheque.
Lastly, please forward to me your full company's (or house address, telephone and fax) details as I will subsequently prefer reaching you through these facilities.
Yours interestingly,
Ismail Usman. </TD></TR></TABLE>
Considering I'm not selling my R and the fact that I don't even have a 98' is really fishy. What a tool
Has anyone else ever received anything like this??

Maybe I'll give him my address and everything and when he comes to "look at it" I'll beat his ***. Then drag him behind MY ITR
Scammer.
Let me guess - he wants to send you a certified check for more than the purchase amount, and wants you to send him a check for the difference. And he's located overseas, so it will take you a month before you find out that the check he sends you is no good.
That's the most common "I want to buy your car" scam.
The most common "I want to sell a car" scam is when they post a listing on eBay, Autotrader, etc at a ridiculously low price, and claim that the car is located overseas and will ship it to you. Of course, they've copied all the car information from someone else's legitimate ad, and they don't own the car at all.

It's just another iteration of the common Nigerian Scam. Literally. Check the email headers and trace to the source mail server. The one I got yesterday traced right back to a Nigerian ISP. Little f_cks.
I understand it's a scam...I was just wondering if anybody else has ever received anything like this. Atleast if you're trying to scam someone...you could atleast get the year right
