b18b head question... erg blockoff?
alright well I have this head I bought for very cheap that I am cleaning up/rebuilding...
and I noticed theres a passageway between cyl 4 that goes to the intake manifold.
I will be using a b18a non-auto intake manifold, so is there a way I should block off that passageway?
this might sound crappy, but I have used that putty steel stuff before on a friend's 73 buick 350 when we did a 4-barrel carb swap, and blocked off 4 outputs from the exhaust towards the intake manifold, and it held, considering we did a really quick fix... could I incorporate that inside the head? or will the intake block it off okay?
edit:
heres a pic from ebay of the intake side where the egr hole is...

there is no egr valve for these motors... i believe that port is for coolant to the fitv or something along those lines
the 90-93 integras are the only model integras that had a egr valve. i hd a auto ls with a egr valve and had no problems with just blting on a 95 ls intake manifold(no egr valve). i didnt have to plug any holes.

well it would be fun to run coolant into my exhaust manifold .... NOT
